‘Twas the night before Christmas on DeviantArt,
Not a paintbrush was stirring, and creators took heart.
The artists scrolled through Daily Deviations with care
Knowing kindred warm-fuzzies soon would be there.
Deviants were all swiping, all snug on their phones
While visions of inspiration across all time zones
Were zapped to their smart device, quick as can be,
At the tap of a button in a +Fav’ing spree!
When across the Interwebs there arose such a clatter,
I sprang to the Comments to see what was the matter,
“I’m bored,” the Journal wrote, “I’m on a long trip, too.

Time is a human construct.
I know this because only the arbitrary delineations we impose upon the juggernaut of reality, in order to understand it…only our constructs could be so mutable, inconstant. Fragile.
Memory is fickle. Even at the time it is being burned into the sparking pathways of our grey matter, it loses things too solid to wish out of existence, gains others — phantom senses, ghosts in the machine. “HEADS UP!” came the cry, echoing off the glacier-polished granite, over the creaking of the rain-soaked rope, the distant hoarse shouts of climbers on different routes. Over the other sound… the dull
I just caught up reading the more than 700(!!!) messages you left me at my last journal and I'm pretty much left speechless.
I initially posted the message to give some clarity to the fact that I'm offline for days sometimes, and that it takes me a while to read my messages (as if it doesn't take time already, considering the amount of messages I receive). Since it's the internet, I didn't actually expect people to care. Let alone; so many people.
Apparently people send messages for me to DAcompliments, or even made journals to show their support to me.
Which is really kind, but it also surprises me. Don't get me wrong. I'm more or less used
Hey peoples! i know i haven posted anything in a while and all i ask it please not lose thine faith in me!
This week is the last week of big projects and assignments, the week after will be finals, BUT once all my papers are in I will definitely try to get something out to you lovelies this weekend. (no promises but i will try)
I think you will all really like this next one. Especially you more adventurous types. I have put a lot of research into this, yes i research what i write about, and no not THAT kind of research you silly dirty fiends. ;p I am just glad i have friends who have experience with this...like a lot of it.

Just a short journal to answer one of the questions that I get a lot.
First of all, it's important to know what exactly are DeviantArt points?
DeviantArt points are a currency that is used on DeviantArt alone. In this website, you can buy points, you can get them, collect them, and buy things for them. It's basically the DeviantArt equivalent to money. Which might come in useful because even for those that don't have a credit card or Paypal account, it is now possible to get a premium membership. Points can be either bought, or gotten for free from other members. There are many ways to get them. I will list a few here.

After careful consideration, I decided to go on with the feature for points plan.
The general idea is to give beginning artists the chance to have their artwork featured on my front page. This might seem pointless to some, especially since there are busy services out there (like dAhub (https://www.deviantart.com/dahub)) that give you points for faving and watching artists. But hold on, it might just be worth it for you. With services like dAhub (https://www.deviantart.com/dahub) there's no guarantee your watchers will eventually keep active, or even like y
I had such a pretty face.
Or at least, that was what they told me when I posted my picture.
I have to admit that I rarely post my face online. Not so much for privacy's sake (I don't have the illusion of privacy, with the NSA around) but more because I've never liked taking pictures pictures. Back in the time, I was probably one of the few young girls that wasn't fond on making selfies, and therefore often had ID's showing either my back, my drawing equipment, or just a drawn image of me. The reason I posted a picture, was because it was for a good cause. An issue that I wanted to raise awareness for myself. The many people that had already
UPDATE: 03/07/2014
My sister found this show called "Catfish" that was originally aired on MTV a while back. It's nothing new, since they're up to 3 seasons now, but I've only just started watching it with her.
I can almost not believe how many people are out there stealing identities and pretending to be other people and being in relationships with their fake persona's. I'm dumbfounded every time I watch an episode because it's amazing the lengths some go to to keep their facade up. :/
In any case, you guys should totally watch it. It shows everyone just how this type of behaviour really affects real life, everyday people.

He was an artist you might not know.
But you’ve met his children…
It’s rare that a “new” iconic monster is born and becomes forever identifiable,—— no matter the variations, by generation after generation. So it was when George Romero created the ultimate “zombie” in his Night of the Living Dead in 1968. Zombie Apocalypse fans today may have never heard of George or seen the original “Night,” but the zombies they so love in fare like The Walking Dead owe their existence to Romero’s original vision.
